Turn your phone upside down

Haha. đ Good suggestion. Unfortunately the phone knows how to correct for that. đ

Hello, I guess it is upside-down, as the upper part is blurred. đ

That is definitely the clue! Good catch. đ Cheers.

It is in the eye of the beholderđ,,, Are those air ripples on top or water ripples of an inverted imageâ đ

Those would be the water ripples of an inverted image! Good catch. đ I considered taking them out but then thought that a clue as to the orientation had to be left. But yes, itâs in the eye of the beholder. Cheers.

I am a 71 yr old man from Minnesota, but can still tell east from west in the rain or at night âī¸

Lots of other things can start going but I believe that the sense of direction hangs on for a long time in people who are good with it. Cheers. đ

Without the ripples, it would have been hard to tell Lynette. Great shot. I love playing with reflections and ripples. Happy Saturday. Allan

Thank you, Allan. I was going to remove the ripples but then I thought that there had to be a clue as to orientation, so this is the original picture, just upside down. Cheers.

Upside down. Itâs a stunning photo!

Thank you very much, Tricia. Weâve had many rainy, wind-still days so the reflections have been pretty great. Yes, definitely upside down. đ

Beautiful reflection! My guess is upside down as the mountain and water is slightly more blurry up top.

Thank you very much, Linda. Yes, itâs upside down. I played around with editing out the ripples but then it would have been really difficult to tell the difference so I left them in. The reflections lately have been stellar since we havenât had any wind.

In this upside down view it resembles a floating island in the sky đ.

It does, doesnât it!? I very much like the effect. We havenât windless conditions right now so the reflections are fantastic. Cheers.

Consensus seems to be upside down, and with the ripples in the top picture I think so too. But it was a smooth lake at the time. Nice picture. Maggie

Yes, itâs upside down. I played with taking out the ripples but then realised it would be too hard to tell the difference, so this is the original, unedited version (except that itâs upside down). The reflections lately have been really beautiful since we havenât been getting any wind.

Upside down. Unless one is looking at the top half through slightly blurred glasses!

Exactly! I had fun playing with the image and I did initially edit out the ripples but then saw that doing that would make it too difficult to figure out. We havenât had much wind lately so the reflections have been really great. Cheers.

Yes, definitely. Weâve had rather windless conditions lately so the reflections have been pretty wonderful.

They definitely do, Jo. With the time change weâre about mid-way through but itâs a good one. Cheers.

I was going to say upside down. Great picture, Lynette! Definitely the kind of photo you can stare at and let your mind blur.

You would be right. đ I was going to post it with the ripples removed but that could have made it too hard to tell the difference so this is the unedited original. It was a beautiful day for good reflections that encourage blurring. đ

And I say… right side up! But I’m not sure.

Itâs upside down, so you were right to doubt it, Penny. If you look closely, youâll see that the top of the mountain has ripples. đ Cheers.
