We had a little sun followed by a little cloud followed by a little rain (which in the mountains was snow), so the weather has been very mixed.

It has been very overcast and rainy but I’m very happy to report that we’re still snow-free here in the valley bottom.
Happy December!
Lovely shots despite the moody weather. It’s hard to believe it’s already December! It’s been overcast here as well. We’ve had a bit of snow this past week, but it’s either melted or gets blown around by the wind. We’re expecting more next week, which I’m okay with. It makes it feel more festive!

Thank you very much, Linda. I agree; I can’t believe it’s December now! We have a sort of watery sun – there’s some high, thin cloud – today with 4° but I will definitely take it and enjoy it. There’s a huge, slow-moving low hovering over the Great Lakes causing widespread poor weather. It’s pulling cold northern air over the warmer southern areas, especially the lakes, which is going to deliver snow. Definitely becoming festive for you and your area – very likely a white Christmas! 🎄

I love the title if your post. A good descriptive title to describe the mixed weather.

Yeah, where did 2024 go? The older I get the faster time seems to pass. It’s not possible, right? 😧

It’s coming. That cold spell will remind us it is, after all, December now.

It sure is. We’ve had lots of rain but nothing much sustained below zero yet. The snow still hasn’t reached us here in the valley but I’m expecting some in January for sure.

Beautifully captured 😊. We’ve had a few flurries but they melt as soon as they hit the ground!

Thank you very much, Belinda. 😊 After my years in the north I’m not a fan of snow, so I would be happy to see it melt, too!

Beautiful photos. It has definitely gotten colder here at night–we had to wrap the banana trees and palm trees in the garden.

Thank you very much. 😊Without a doubt December has arrived! Agreed, anything delicate needs to be wrapped now.
