I can’t believe it’s November! But here to ease the arrival of the oncoming winter months are some October flowers, still looking fantastic despite the calendar.

Happy Friday.

Gorgeous gold! Happy All Saint’s Day, Lynette! It’s a national holiday here in Portugal so it’s all quiet today.

Thank you, Jo. 😊 All Saints Day isn’t recognised here but I remember its significance from when I lived in Germany. I hope you enjoy your quiet day. Cheers.

They are really beautiful right now; so great (at least temporarily) since our weather is now becoming rainy and overcast.

All such pretty shades of yellow! A cheery start to November 😊

Thank you very much, Belinda. 😊 Our skies are becoming very grey, so at least for a bit all these colours are so great to see.

Yellow is such a nice colour in the autumn. I call the trees with yellow leaves “lightbulb trees”. Happy Friday Lynette. Allan

Thank you very much. I agree, Allan, and I love that name! Given how grey we are right now, these lightbulb trees are such a treat. Cheers.

I needed those. They’re perfect for Thanksgiving.

Glad you like them. Yes, you have your Thanksgiving coming up! At least all your election stuff will be done by then – enjoy! 🦃

Mums are so wonderful to see at this time of year.

I agree, Anneli. The city planted quite a few of them around the parks in early September; such a nice touch.

Thank you very much, John. There are actually a row of these trees (the one in the picture is at the head of the line) and I tried to capture that sense but I ended up being happier with the result I posted here instead. Cheers.

Love all the golden yellows. I still can’t believe it’s already November too. Where does the time go!?

I do, too, Linda. I don’t think I have a favourite as they’re all so pretty. And November? I’m not sure where the time went, either!
