Storm

We had quite a windy rain storm pass through …

… which had many birds huddling on the beach …

… but the sun showed up …

… and for a bit it felt like it could be spring.

Unfortunately, that won’t be happening for a while, but it was nice to enjoy the little reversion.

Happy Monday.

    1. Thank you very much, Belinda. 😊They don’t want to get too far from the water but it’s too windy for them to comfortably fly. They would be better off among some trees or bushes, I think, but that’s just not their thing!

  1. We always wonder why birds line up like they do, whether it be gulls on a beach or pigeons on a wire. We dodged in and out of showers on our walk yesterday. Happy Monday Lynette. Allan

    1. Thank you, Allan. I wonder about that, too, because they would be more comfortable in protected areas, but they can’t help themselves and have to stay near the water, even when their feathers are just about being blown away!

    1. Thank you very much. 😊 Agreed! We have had one night where it went down to -2C but since then our lows have all been well above zero. Lots of intermittent rainfall though which is a very good thing considering that we’re still not out of drought conditions yet. It really did feel springlike, Anneli. It can do that as much as it wants!
