Happy Thursday.

What a wonderful shot, it makes me want to follow the road into town π

Thank you very much. We did follow that road; it goes to a different section of Okanagan Lake and lined on both sides by autumn trees. π

It is like the warning signs are leading you to autumn gold Lynette. A great time of year. Happy Thursday. Allan

Thank you, Allan. That little street in lovely Naramata is definitely lined with gold right now. So pretty and yes, such a great time of year.

Lovely photo. I do like seeing bridges and autumn colors at the same time. Seems meaningful somehow.

Thank you very much, Ally. I agree. Thereβs something about an autumn bridge, the crossing into a new season, perhaps, with the implication of our own life changes and endings. Itβs very bittersweet, I find.

Is the old school still standing in Naramata? I taught there in the 70s and loved it.

Yes, the school is still there in the centre of town and very vibrant. Clearly at the heart of life for this little village.

Looks so pretty even though the skies are gloomy.

Yes, it was raining when I took that photo. I liked how the dark skies contrasted so well with the golden leaves. Cheers.

Or perhaps the clouds are providing a regal mantel for the awe-inspiring rainbow of colors that the trees are presenting for them? π

Such a pastoral picture. Love the colours. The wind has taken the leaves here.

Naramata is very pretty, no matter the season but the autumn trees really elevate it. Iβve lived in Alberta and understand about that wind!

Oh, and, terrific trees as well.

Naramata is beautiful and quirky. Lots of wealth but many ageing hippies too, so an eclectic little community. Up until recently it also had wild peacocks running around (until someone – or ones – became annoyed at their squawking and picked them off one by one).
