We may be one day away from the official start of autumn but there are still many beautiful garden sights and the weather right now is glorious, too.

Happy Friday.

Thank you, Neil. I agree. And it’s also my way of hanging on to summer for as long as I can!

All of these are beautiful, but I particularly like the depth and dimension of the first photo. I hope you have a lovely weekend!

Thank you very much, Tricia. I like that one, too; you can see the clouds reflected in the water. Happy weekend to you, too. 😊

The water lily is beautiful, with such lovely colors. I can even spot the reflection of fluffy clouds in the water—really beautiful!

Thank you very much. They are fading now but a few are still holding out. Yes, I like the cloud reflection, too. Cheers.

A nice colourful selection Lynette. A good way to greet Friday. In PEI, the good weather finally broke, with winds gusting to 48 k/h all night long. We will see some waves today. Have a wonderful Friday. Allan

Thank you very much, Allan. I was amazed to hear that you were getting such high temperatures this late in the year in PEI, but gusts to 48 km aren’t great either! I hope it settles into some nice autumn weather for you although watching the wave action is pretty great, too. PEI is so gorgeous. Cheers.

The beach walk this morning was amazing with crashing waves and 3 boots full of sea water. Leaving tomorrow.

I really like the pond lily photo. Did you tweak it?

I like that photo, too. It’s one of the last lilies in that pond and you can see that the plant leaves are beginning to deteriorate. This picture is original. What are you seeing (or not)?

The outlines of the leaves – great contrast – just an extra good photo. Very nice!

Thank you very much, Anneli. It was just luck, really. That’s how the leaves were sitting on the water.

The days feel like summer and the nights autumn. Such pretty flowers, especially that red hydrangea. The colour is absolutely gorgeous.

Yes, that’s so great right now. Warm days, cool nights. I found these hydrangeas in a city park garden. I agree, the colour is just stellar. Cheers.
