Who says that it’s only birds of a feather that flock together? You can definitely flock with scales, too …

We have some trouble communicating but we still understand each other …

… because when the humans are dispensing food, it’s always a great idea to bring your best friends along to share the wealth. More friends, more food, especially if you look cute and needy, something that’s a bit difficult for a fish …

… but we know that sharing with our underwater, scaled friends is a good thing. They would do the same for us!
Happy Sunday.
These are lovely!

What luck to capture the fish and the ducks together like that.

I definitely hadn’t seen anything like this before, Anneli. Someone was feeding the fish and the ducks had to stop by to investigate! There wasn’t much for them – it was fish food – but they did their PR bit before giving up and swimming away.

Really lucky opportunity for you and your camera.

Wow! Those carp are big!

Yes, they are huge! They can grow to enormous sizes apparently because they don’t have an off switch telling them that they’re full. They are a huge attraction, especially for children and the ducks keep an eye on them, too!

Food is always a great way to bring people, and ducks and fish apparently, together! Great shots!

Thanks, Linda. I was so surprised to see the ducks trying to take advantage of the opportunity for a snack. They’re not just a bunch of pretty feathers!

So cute, waiting for the kindness of humans. The fish do not have a chance to escape and the birds know the best places to hang out. Happy September Lynette. Allan

Thanks; happy September to you, too. They are so adorable with their pleading eyes but we don’t feed them at this time of year as there’s lots available to them. They definitely know where all the great possibilities are!

Maybe the ducks were hoping for a bit of quinoa 😊. Sweet shots!

Hahaha! 😊 That could be! Thank you very much, Belinda. They’re so adorable when they gaze at you pleading for a handout, but there’s lots available to them right now.
