We may be heading into late August, but the flowers are still beautifully and steadily blooming. Here’s a sampler.

Happy flower Friday. 🌸

Thank you very much, Tricia. We’re getting a lot of the later bloomers now, although I’m amazed at how the roses just seem to keep going and going! Cheers.

Going out in one last blaze of glory. Nice to see the August colours Lynette. Have a great Friday. Allan

Thanks, Allan. They will probably last for about another month and will taper off as the autumn leaves get going. Yes, it’s a short but glorious colour season!

We are enjoying our last warm day of summer here +28 today, then back to seasonal. Flowers are fast fading and tomatoes are ripening???

It has been up and down here because we’ve been getting rain – yay! As soon as the clouds clear off though we’re back to 30. The weather prognosticators have not been very accurate, but the fire danger is decreasing with every rain shower! I hope you enjoy the warmth. Fingers crossed that you have a sunny (and rain showery) descent into autumn and lots of enjoyment of those beautiful tomatoes.

So beautiful this late in the session.. I wish we had hydrangeas here. Maggie

Hydrangeas really grow so well here, and many different types, too; this seems to be a sweet spot for them. Some kinds bloom early and others later, so their beautifully lacy blooms are a frequent sight from spring to autumn.

They’re all so pretty and fresh looking! I particularly like the pond lily photo.

I’ve been watching them for a while now and waiting for them to bloom. They’re so pretty floating on the ponds.

Keep the flowers coming. Soon we’ll wonder where they’ve all gone.

I’m not a fan of the heat, but I do love all the colourful flowers in the summer. Also, I love the Friday Fleurday title of your post. Cute!

Thanks, Linda. I try to be creative with the titles, but that doesn’t always work! Heat isn’t my best buddy either, but like you, I love the flowers. Cheers.
