So sorry to hear that Allan. I hope that fire is doused soon. It was 36 in Penticton today with 39 predicted in the next one or two but we’re now heading north en route to Haida Gwaii. Pretty warm here in Prince George at 34 but it will be cooler on the coast!
I can’t understand why, as kids, we used to ask each other, “What do you like better? Summer or winter?” And this was in Dawson Creek! Unbelievable that we even considered winter as an option. The flowers are beautiful.
Me either, because summer was my favourite and everyone else’s, too! Flowers are one of the things I love about summer but also the lushness and sense of intense growth. Everything is bursting!
I agree. I think flowers are one of summer’s wonderful attributes. Yes, it is hot, hot, hot. 36 today and then 38, 39 for Monday and Tuesday. But we are heading for Haida Gwaii where it’s cooler! Cheers.

The heat bubble pushed the smoke back North. +29 today, but +32 tomorrow and +34 by Thurs. Safe travels to Haida Gwaii. Allan
