  1. So beautiful Lynette. I love blossom time and we are finally in that time here. Still some rain coming “YAY” and the temps are cool…4C here this morning and for the next two mornings but spring is here. May Long would not be May Long without some cool rainy (or snowy) weather. Happy Saturday. Allan

    1. I saw the good news about Fort Nelson and Fort Mac. Not perfect but better than the alternative. Agreed – May long was never reliable for weather especially if you were going camping. I can remember some very bad weather ones! Glad that you’re getting some relief from heat and dry and enjoying spring blossoms.

  2. Are you sure those are apple blossoms? What kind of apples are they? Any idea? Our apple blossoms are all white, with a hint of pink on some varieties, but I’ve never seen any this deep pink colour. Would be interesting to know.

    1. Yes. I queried them as well and found out that they are a type of Chinese ornamental apple tree. They look a lot like Japanese crabapple, but I could see the differences in the bloom structures. Cheers. 🌸

      1. Oh! That sounds interesting. I do remember now that we had a crabapple tree a long, long time ago, and its blossoms were quite pink. So this makes sense now. Thanks for the response, Lynette.
