Think Pink

Here in southern Ontario where I am presently visiting, everything is in the pink!

Elegant moth orchids.
Frilly Japanese cherry.
And last but not least, a British Columbia favourite: pink dogwood.

The weather has been cool, windy and rainy at times, but we had enough sun to get good shots of these pretty spring flowers.

  1. Rain or shine, flowers always lift the spirits Lynette. The plum and apple trees are starting to bloom here right now, adding their pink to the whites of Mayday and Schubert trees. Hopefully, the small showers last evening and a bit of rain this morning will help this all out. Happy Monday. Allan

    1. Thanks, Allan. Great that you’re getting some blooming and at least some rain; it’s better than none, even if you only get a small amount every day or second day. I love the mayday trees. So pretty and the scent is lovely. Spring has been slow to southern Ontario, as well. Very rainy and chilly.

  2. Pretty in pink! They remind me of the lyrics to the Nat King Cole song “A blossom fell from off a tree
It settled softly on the lips you turned to me”.
