We recently drove through the Rocky Mountains of Banff and Lake Louise on a beautifully sunny day.
You can see that there’s still snow on the peaks and this being the mountains, the breeze was brisk, but the sun shining on our backs as we took a short walk to stretch our legs was beautifully warm.

It is definitely light according to our friend who lives in Canmore. He told us that most of the snow on the peaks arrived in the last month or so. Agreed – I love them also. Cheers.

I’ve watched several videos of those stunning views at Banff. That place is amazing. How wonderful that you get to be there, if even briefly.

The Rockies are magnificent. Both M and I have spent significant time there. I used to live close by and he used to work there, so we feel pretty fortunate. 😊 Cheers.

M and I are fortunate enough to have each spent significant time in Banff and Lake Louise. We also got married in Banff and had our wedding celebration in Lake Louise, so they’re special to us that way, also. I hope you get to visit some time. 😊

Thank you very much, Linda. The weather in BC had been great when we left. But we encountered serious rain storms on the prairies from Alberta all the way to Minnesota. The weather in London was also cold, windy and rainy. May weather can be unpredictable, for sure.
