   1. Thanks, Allan. I heard from a friend who lives in Lacombe that there’s snow in your area. The best that can be said for that is that you’re getting some moisture.

      1. We got snow overnight and until about 11:00 AM today, perhaps 8 cm. Heavy wet snow that melted pretty quickly, but before it could I was out throwing it onto my lawn. Calgary is expecting 30 cm.

   1. Thank you very much. 😊 We are very fortunate that a pair lives nearby. We see them regularly, often with lunch dangling from their claws. That’s the nature of eagles.

7. Love the wildflowers poking up — this early spring is the moment I always loved best, on the Canadian Shield, when ephemeral wildflowers appeared so quickly and so briefly, and then out came the forest canopy and took charge…

   1. Hi Penny, yes, the canopy is coming along now. Within the next two or three days most trees will be in full leaf. Agreed, the wildflowers are ephemeral. So beautiful and so easily missed.
