Glimpses of Spring

I’m closely watching for good spring signs. Here are a few.

Azalea buds.
Lake water gently lapping.
Maple tree flowerlets.
Coot pairs.
Burgeoning rhododendrons.

More and stronger signs will soon be appearing!

  1. Great to see the azaleas and rhodies coming along Lynette. Hopefully, these will be in bloom when next we see Vancouver. Trees continue to bud here, even in the cooler weather. I am sure once the heat hits, things will pop. Fingers crossed for rain. Happy Tuesday. Allan

    1. Thanks, Allan.
I think they definitely will pop after the mild winter you’ve had. And, yes, fingers crossed you get more rain. I’m looking forward to seeing the azaleas and rhododendrons; they’re so beautiful and showy. They will bloom here in late April or early May. Cheers.

  2. It’s amazing how quickly everything transforms once you start to see the early signs of spring. All our snow from last week has melted and it’s feeling a lot more like spring again. Let’s hope it stays that way!

    1. Agreed, Linda. You hit that tipping point and then it’s suddenly flowers and buds everywhere! I bet it’s great to see the back of that big snowfall and warmer temperatures. Cheers.
