We’ve had some variable weather lately.

Clouds come sweeping through and away, driven by firm winds …

… that leave lovely evening skies in their wake.
Happy Monday.

Majestic skies Lynette. Always nice to see the blue show through. Happy Monday. Allan

Thank you very much, Allan.
It certainly is! A little blue goes a long way between the rain showers.

It looks like the trees are beginning to show new growth. They create a beautiful silhouette against the evening sky 😊

They are just barely beginning. We’ve had a series of days from +12c to yesterday’s +15, so everything is awakening. I love tree silhouettes. Cheers.

I can see that the wind is blowing the clouds away, maybe up to Vernon where they are expecting snow?

Environment Canada has been saying over the past five days or so that we’re going to get +3 or 4c with rain turning to snow at about 600m above the valley. We haven’t received any of it yet and in fact have had a string of warmer days with wind. Yesterday was +15c.
I just looked at Vernon’s weather and predictions for today are similar to ours: 30% chance of flurries and they have a slightly lower elevation than us. But we already have +7c (higher than predicted) so I doubt it’s going to snow. Rain, maybe!

We had a little bit of hail yesterday and a whisper of snow today, with a few mixed rain and snow slushies tomorrow. It’s cold (for us).

Mixed rain and snow isn’t very pleasant. We had another day of sun with very cloudy periods but no precipitation and a high of 9c. Was a pleasant day despite predictions otherwise. I hope you warm up soon.

My daffodils want to come out. The buds are just waiting for a warmish day. Maybe next week.

Shouldn’t be too much longer – March is here by the end of the week!

Variety is the spice? Love that first shot, Lynette.

As I respond to your comment the weather is closing in very quickly! I can see the rain and misty cloud coming down from the mountains, so yes, variety!

I do as well, Allan. I like the contrast of soft light and dark branches.

Hey, as long as the clouds clear and you still get to enjoy some sunshine, that’s all that matters 🙂

I totally agree, Linda. The temperature was actually good but it was windy and these giant puffy clouds came through quickly. I liked watching their travels up the valley as we had a good vantage point from one of the mountain benches.
