Well captured. I love these broad sky vistas with brooding clouds. Our snow is still on the horizon, apparently starting at 1 PM and ending at 1 Pm tomorrow. Enjoy your Sunday Lynette. Allan
Thank you very much, Allan.
The forecast called for rain and I thought for sure we would get some, but there wasn’t any precipitation. Feels strange typing this, but I hope you get lots of snow!
Wow! You are getting walloped! Except for the extreme cold snap we had in January, the weather here has been mostly usual for this area. Lots of rain, but no power outages, thankfully.
I read that Vancouver might be getting some more white stuff. Ugh. That sky passed on without leaving any precipitation at all, but it did look like we would be inundated!
Great Clouds! 🙂

Wonderful photo! It looks like those clouds held a lot of rain.

Thank you very much. 😊 They definitely looked that way but didn’t drop any precipitation. Just provided a great sky show!

The weather has been strange here. We just lost power for three hours, and now it’s really raining hard. Hope the electricity doesn’t go out again. 😦

Yes, and here that brooding sky has translated into a new powdering of mountain-top snow above the current freezing level

Love the moody sky.

We get lots of great skyscapes since we’re in such a deep valley between mountain ranges. I love watching the clouds.

It’s always neat to see the rain come in across the water. Stay dry out there.

Although we had some rather grand cloud activity, nothing came of it. No precipitation at all although lots of wind.
