We usually get lots of rain in this valley during winter and that’s actually been great since up until December we were in a major drought. Apparently not anymore, though, thankfully.

I agree. It was so pretty the way the clouds were forming and deforming and then the reflection from the sun. The rain was worth it!

Most of the time we frown at the idea of a cloudy sky, but without the clouds, you wouldn’t get the effect of the sun hitting them. These are gorgeous shots, Lynette.

Thank you very much, Anneli. I agree. I find the cloud formations here to be so beautiful – the effect of a large lake at the bottom of a valley – and when the sun highlights them they can be so lovely. Cheers.
