Skaha Lake

We went walking at the southern end of Skaha Lake.

It was a beautiful day although the wind was out of the north and rather cold. In protected areas it was lovely.

The blue skies and lake were great to see. As we get closer to spring I’m hoping to see a lot more of that fantastic colour!

Happy Thursday.

  1. Really looks lovely and looks warm just by the photo. But looks can be deceiving with you saying it was cold, other than when you were in protected areas where it felt warmer.

  2. Our forest day was yesterday, supposedly a mix of sun and cloud. Turned out to be a mix of cloud, bright cloud snow flurries and chilly winds. I think we get our blue skies today. I can tell, because it is -16C this AM. Oh, how winter wants to hold on. Happy Thursday Lynette. Allan

    1. Thank you.
Oh Allan! -16? Ouch. We have dropped this morning as well, but only to 0 and we’re back to a thick overcast. We’re likely going to get some more rain. I’m not surprised since the wind yesterday felt like it was coming off a glacier. We may be getting good days, but it’s not smooth sailing. Stay warm.

          1. I see that you changed your mind about publishing your post about answering comments. I think you should post it. I like to hear what people think on my own posts and on those of other people too. Go for it!

  3. Not a response to this post – but I couldn’t get through to comment on your comment about responding to comments! I try to “like” comments, and only reply if they ask a question or raise a point to which I wish to respond, and I don’t expect a reply to comments I make unless I ask a question, in which case I really cared enough to ask, and I appreciate an answer!

    1. Wow! Interesting that you can’t post a comment on the other piece! Thanks for weighing in. Other commenters have indicated that they also handle comments or responses similarly to the way you do.

If you’re having intermittent issues with posting comments you may want to contact the WP “happiness engineers.” A couple of months back I was having issues with clicking the like button and had to get it fixed as the problem gradually became worse and worse.
