We had a little sun yesterday. What a treat!

But we had to enjoy it because we’re back to the overcast again (and maybe some colder temperatures for a couple of days, too).
Happy Thursday.

Sunshine, after gray skies, always energizes us.

It sure does, Anneli, and it was a nice little break considering that we got a little more snow last night and the temperature is now down to -6. It’s projected to go lower tomorrow. Ugh.

It sure will! 😊 But in the meantime our temperature has very unusually dropped. -6C right now and lower expected for tonight. 🥶

It’s always a treat to see the sun break through grey skies. Enjoy while it lasts!

It was a lovely little break but apparently the calm before the storm. The temperature has really dropped and our power went off during the night for a couple of hours. We’re projected to have a very cold couple of days, especially for this area. But, as another commenter noted, “this too shall pass.”

Sunshine in the winter is always a welcome sight, no matter how short. Hope you get more sunshine soon Lynette. Allan

I agree, Allan. We got a bit more snow and a lot of wind last night and our power went out, too, but the temperature is now dropping and bringing some clearer skies along. I hope you got some more snow (it feels strange to wish that but I know how dry it is). Cheers.

We have about 10 cm on the ground now and keep getting what I call “nuisance snow”, just enough that you have to do something about it. It is -31 C here right now and Saturday morning is supposed to be near -45C at the airport. Staying home by the fire that day. 😊

I bet you are! -45 is wild. At that temperature there won’t be much snow, but maybe as it warms you will get more. Stay cozy and frostbite free. 😊

Thank you. 🙂 It was quickly gone again but we’re getting a little more now. Unfortunately it’s accompanied by colder temperatures.

I like your sunshine. Not too much of it here this month.

It unfortunately didn’t last long and now we’re being walloped by a storm coming right out of the Arctic that’s expected to affect Washington and Oregon as well. Well, I guess it’s January.

A treat indeed! Seeing the sun seems to be a rarity these days.

It definitely has been a rarity. The sun came with the colder weather but I’ll be okay with warmer and rainy!
