A yearling peacock, learning to strut.

A monolithic cruise ship, passing the beach where I’ve parked myself. 😎

And, a lovely specimen from the orchid garden.

Happy Thursday.

You well called that ship a monolith….
Not the kind of ship I’d take a cruise with!

Let’s hope the cruise ship people don’t come ashore near where you are.

We’re rather off the beaten path here, Anneli. Nothing much for the cruisers.

Thank you, Penny.
I agree. Their environmental impact is extreme, too.

Does a cruise ship that big contribute to the wave action where you are on the shore?

Good question – I didn’t notice anything like that though when I went for a swim later.

Lovely captures. I can’t get over just how huge that cruise ship is. That’s a hard pass for me.

Thank you, Linda.
Me too. I couldn’t believe the size of it and just sat staring. You can totally understand why such huge numbers will do environmental damage and also why they’re being denied access in some places.
