We had lunch at a winery today. The food was stellar.

And so was the wine.

And the view.

And the weather.
We feel very fortunate to be here. Happy Wednesday.

Thank you very much, Steve. We had to do some shopping but then ended our day with this really great late lunch. Cheers.

The photo of the different perspective is great. As is what is in the glass, of course.

Thank you, Ally. Iβm glad you got the little joke (it was pretty small). That was a white blend – an excellent summer wine. Cheers. π

There used to be a Naramata Tea House on the road to Naramata. They had the best fancy teas and cheesecakes. That was a long, long time ago.

Winery lunches are the best, but add a view and they are hard to beat. Happy Wednesday Lynette. Allan

Iβve added a food picture of our appi (we shared it and the main) which was scallops and pork belly with pea purΓ©e and mustard. Was so fresh and delicious. Our main was a butter lettuce salad and a braised lamb sandwich. The lamb was so tender and juicy. Yum.

Wonderful. Did I miss your retirement? I thought it was still forthcoming (soon).

Not at all. Iβm working remotely until my retirement at the end of October as I have had a bit of a health issue crop up. I have kidney disease (usually well controlled through diet and exercise) and my numbers suddenly dropped, so some investigation was in order and I decided to come home for that. My numbers have since come up again, but my dr. would like to know whatβs going on. Cheers.
