1. Most often better high than low. Ours is still high enough but we had very little snow this year so the creeks and brooks and small rivers will be very low soon. as we had no spring melt to speak of. Happy Friday, Lynette!

   1. Thank you, Steve. This usually sleepy little creek was just pelting a couple of weeks ago (starting to come close to flooding) and it has slowed significantly but still much higher than normal. Agreed that higher is better, but I wouldn’t want to see it flood. Cheers.

4. It’s so dry here – we got about 3 minutes of rain today – not nearly enough!

   1. Usually we are really dry and threatened with fires but maybe not this year, fingers crossed. I hope you get some slow steady rain!

      1. The good part is no need to cut the grass but it’s otherwise pretty crunchy and crackly out there 🙂

   1. Yes, exactly. There were a large number of them a couple of days ago hanging out on their favourite embankment and gazing mournfully at the too-fast creek. They are really hating this interruption to their routine.
