Surprisingly, we’ve only had one white-knuckle drive through the Rockies (during my tenure in the north) and that was just before our break in December. The weather has usually been good!
I don’t think you’ll regret it, Anneli. We usually stop there to break up our long drive and stretch our legs, and I always feel so fortunate to be able to do that.

So pretty. This makes me want to visit the Rockies in the winter. I’m sure driving would be a bit stressful though if the weather is bad.
