I am heading to the subarctic today; to the land of 60° north latitude (and more). I will miss this beautifully slow southern autumn in the Okanagan but I will also carry that beauty with me.

Safe travels Lynette. All my neighbours put their snow tires on yesterday (+17 here) and I may do that today or tomorrow as fall lingers another day or two. Real weather comes on Tuesday, I hear. Happy Friday. Allan

Yes, that’s very true! I don’t like to wish for future things to “arrive” (all things in their time), but in this case I’m definitely wishing for speed!
