Since moving from one end of Penticton to the other, I haven’t posted many recent photos of Skaha Lake.
I took this picture of the east side of the lake soon after a rain shower passed through. I like the interplay of cloud and light and the contrast of the bright autumn-clad trees.

The cloud diffused sun has always been one of my favourite lighting effects. I call the autumn trees “Lightbulb trees”, especially the yellow ones. They shine like a lightbulb in the otherwise bleak landscape. Happy Thursday Lynette. Allan

What a beautiful capture. It looks like a typical fall day for this time of the year. I love the different colours of the whites and greys in the clouds.
