2. It’s going to be strange for a while with the snow/ice melting and then freezing again before melting more. I remember that finding the first few little pebbles in the spring was always a big deal.

   1. The snow is all gone now; just the ice on the lakes and rivers is left, but it has been pelting with rain today and that will take out a lot of the ice. We had a run of +15C or so during the week (so nice to feel that sun!) that also helped. I agree – finding those first signs is always such a nice surprise.

         1. It’s lower now as it’s still overcast and raining. About +5 or so. It may have been warmer here for a bit but your area is a lot further ahead. Cheers.

   1. Sadly, we now have pouring rain which will help to melt the remaining ice, but it will also help those pesky mosquitoes!
