Yes, for a couple of weeks now, but the thick ice has been hanging on. The rain will take care of that but will provide a nice hatching environment for the mosquitoes, too. There’s always something!
Actually, the rain turned to snow and for a few hours we had a blizzard. Then it rained some more followed by a freeze. Everything was a mess, especially the roads. And some of the rivers, choked with big ice pans, started to flood. Nasty.
