I couldn’t agree more. I have seen lots of examples of this since I’ve been in the NWT. Agreed- I t’s truly amazing how resilient some flowers can be.

I was told that it’s a type of crocus, but it really doesn’t look like that to me. Then again, I’ve been surprised by some of these plants before!

Maybe pasqueflower? I think crocus have 6 petals.

I did a bit of digging and found out that this a snowdrop anemone, so not a crocus at all. I hadn’t heard of pasqueflower. Very pretty.
