2. Do you split that wood as you go or do you burn it round?

   1. It was split. There was another stack in a covered porch on the back and it was all quartered.

3. Love the “cozy cabin,” but I’d keep the logs under that roof to the side of the cabin (assuming there’s a side door there).

   1. There is a porch (and screened area) around the back where the quartered logs are kept. It’s not my cabin; I was a guest of the Dene Ku’e First Nation. It was a wonderful day!

   1. It is, but I didn’t stay there overnight, only to warm up after a couple of hours outside.

   1. It is a beautiful spot, but it’s also tough. The cold weather can be very difficult to get used to.

      1. I hear ya’. I’ve lived in four different states…all in the south/mid-atlantic. I don’t think I could handle your level of cold. 🥶 But, you are in a pretty place and I’d love to try snowmobiling. ❄

         1. It’s quite a lot of fun, but you need to wear the right clothes to stay warm as the speed can generate some serious wind chill.
