Happy Tuesday. 🙂
This looks like such a cozy cute place to stay and warm-up after spending time outdoors in the cold. Stay warm out there. Linda
It was wonderful, especially with a fire and hot chocolate! I slept well that night.
Do you split that wood as you go or do you burn it round?
It was split. There was another stack in a covered porch on the back and it was all quartered.
Love the “cozy cabin,” but I’d keep the logs under that roof to the side of the cabin (assuming there’s a side door there).
There is a porch (and screened area) around the back where the quartered logs are kept. It’s not my cabin; I was a guest of the Dene Ku’e First Nation. It was a wonderful day!
Thanks for the additional info. I’m sure you wee a wonderful guest!
Thank you. I do my best. 🙂
Pretty nice! I hope it’s well insulated. Sure looks cozy.
It is, but I didn’t stay there overnight, only to warm up after a couple of hours outside.
That looks like a perfect little place.
It is, and very beautiful, too. 🙂
I envy you.
It is a beautiful spot, but it’s also tough. The cold weather can be very difficult to get used to.
I hear ya’. I’ve lived in four different states…all in the south/mid-atlantic. I don’t think I could handle your level of cold. 🥶 But, you are in a pretty place and I’d love to try snowmobiling. ❄
It’s quite a lot of fun, but you need to wear the right clothes to stay warm as the speed can generate some serious wind chill.
Ah. Good to know.
Such a cosy retreat!
It’s really lovely, especially when you’ve spent an hour or two outside. 🙂
Cozy cabin, sound is also cozy. Wish to stay like this type of cozy cabin.
It is a wonderful cabin. Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
Thank you for the wonderful imagery
