I can see the sun only shining on the treetops. It’s probably midday there?? Even here, the midday sun is so low in the sky. Only about two weeks before it begins to come back though. I find that turnaround so encouraging. Beautiful wintery photo.
Thank you very much. I took this at about 2:00 p.m, so the sun was getting ready to disappear. These trees are on a bit of a rise and so they were still catching the sun. Yes – the solstice is coming!

Yes, it’s very beautiful, but it was about -28C (-18F). Quite cold!
