In Penticton, the last two days have been 20C (68F). Here it has been -20C (-4F). A forty degree difference is rather amazing (and makes me wistful!).

Wow that’s a crazy temperature difference!! I guess I shouldn’t complain about how cold it is here because it’s not nearly as bad as -20C!!

Yes, it certainly is! And worrisome too. At this time of year, Penticton is usually about 5C, not 20, so it’s part of the awful climate change weather B.C. has been experiencing,

I am not sure 20 in Penticton at this time of year is a good sign. Likely a side effect of the atmospheric rivers. Hopefully tempos and weather settle down to norms soon. Happy Friday Lynette. Allan

I don’t believe it’s good either. M had the door to the deck open, and a couple of flies came in. Flies in December? Yikes. I agree that it’s likely part of these atmospheric rivers. Penticton has been getting some of the wind and rain as well, just not as much.

So true! This weather lasted for a couple of days and then went back to normal with about 5C. Very strange, though.
