In Penticton, roses are still to be found, budding and blooming.

I don’t know how much longer they will last, but they are a lovely find.
Happy Friday.

There were several of them getting ready to open. I was quite surprised to see them still motoring along!

This is one of my favourite colours in a rose. Beautiful.

I agree. That is a very lovely colour, a cross between yellow and orange.

This is such a pretty colour for a rose. We still have some mums that are in bloom on our front porch. Hoping they last a little bit longer before the snow arrives. Have a wonderful weekend. Linda

Yes, it’s really such a pretty yellowy orange. I couldn’t believe that they were still coming out, but here in the southern Okanagan there hasn’t been any frost yet. It sounds like you are having a lovely slow autumn as well. 🙂

I often end up with roses in full bloom that get snowed on or iced over before they decide to give it up for the winter. They are always so pretty when that happens.

I agree. That’s really is so pretty. Roses are often seen as delicate, but they certainly can be rather tough and determined!
