I don’t know what these flowers are, but on a recent ramble I found many of them next to the trail. Very pretty. Does anyone recognise them?

Happy Sunday. 🙂

We have them here too Lynette. I need to get a wildflower book as good as my bird book. Have a great Sunday. Allan

Yes, it’s a very pretty blue. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them before here, either. Maybe they are an import or escapees from someone’s garden. Cheers!

Google images says it’s Baby Blue Eyes–Nemophila menziesii. It seems pretty sure of that! Lovely flower.

Thanks for taking the time to look them up, Jacqui! 🙂 They are very pretty and certainly brightened the trail.

They sure don’t look like weeds!

There are gardens above the trail at that point, so they may be the result of some wind seeding.

I’m terrible at identifying plants/flowers, but the ones you’ve captured here sure are beautiful!
