1. Nothing finer than relaxing by the water with a nice wine. So nice to have the cool here and we got a decent rain last night. Hope it also hit some of the forest fires, Lynette. Stay well. Allan

   1. You got rain! Congratulations! A friend who lives in Lacombe told me that they got rain yesterday so I wondered if you got some, as well. Yes, relaxing by the lake is pretty wonderful!

2. Is that old boat still at the south end shore of Okanagan Lake in Penticton? This must be a different one. It looks more modern.

   1. It’s still there and is a museum. This photo was taken on the deck next to Lake Okanagan at the Penticton Lakeside Resort. The casino is now gone from that location and the restaurant is so much better than it used to be.

5. What a nice way to spend some time! But now I’m wondering what you ate, that the restaurant is “so much better” than before!

   1. It used to have a casino attached and catered to those customers. The meals were all very bland and sort of joyless despite looking good on paper. Since the casino left, the meals have become inventive, interesting and best of all, good! The wine list has also improved. 🙂
