I am very taken with this photo. There are so many interesting aspects: the colours, the shadow and light, the sense that it could be a swirl of fabric (or yes, a painting). And then the oryx in the foreground giving such depth to the dunes. Amazing!
Iâve spent a lot of time looking at it, and I canât, either. Thereâs a sense of awesome beauty enclosed inside the perception of how puny we are. I agree, the emotional impact is immediate.
