  1. I’m with you Lynette. Too much snow, too white, too cold, too windy, too long. Hey, but the sun is shining and there are no mosquitoes. Bought my garden seeds yesterday. Can’t wait to start planting, but, I will have to. Hope all is well Lynette. Allan

  2. I thought we were finally over the winter/cold hump and yet we are below freezing today and will have nasty freezing rain and who knows what else hitting all day. I was so enjoying the open window weather.

  3. We’re having some really nice weather here. Which is a change from last year when it snowed in April. But, when I say “nice” I don’t mean warm weather. It’s just not cold enough to snow.

Hang in there, Lynette. Spring is coming soon.

    1. Glad to hear that spring has arrived somewhere! I hope it’s warm enough to leave a window open. It seems that many places are still dealing with variations on winter.
Thanks Lori, it will arrive, I know. 🙂

  4. It’s snowing again and minus something awful degrees C. When the first flakes started to fall on top of the foot of new stuff we got last week, I actually wailed out loud to the cats..WHY IS IT SNOWING AGAIN!
LOL I’ve lost my mind but it’s fine. I’m fine. 😉 Ha ha.

  5. It’s begun it’s very slow change over up here. Even so, it snowed yesterday 😮 Even through the weak(ish) sunshine. Of course it’s all melted today, but the fact that it snowed and it got quite chilly (going from high 60s to mid to low 40s was highly discouraging) didn’t improve the situation. I’m with YOU! Bring on the sunshine already!!

  6. I just came in from dancing around with the weed whacker. We have a big walnut tree with a patch of bee balm growing around it. I was careful not to beat it up too much, but the little bit I couldn’t avoid made it smell like a cup of Earl Grey tea. I think I’ll have a cup right now.
I’m really enjoying this thread. Thanks for posting it. I hear that I may be here next week to talk about the cold.

    1. You’re welcome. 🙂
It sounds like you are having a really nice spring. Atm, we don’t weed whackers. People are still driving around on snowmobiles! That’s late, even for this northern clime. I hope your expected cold snap is short (or veers off somewhere else). 😉

  7. I can’t remember the last April when we didn’t have a cold snap, so it’s all good. Besides, I bought a really stylin’ pea coat a few months back and I would like to go for a walk in it so my neighbors can ogle me from inside their houses.
I’m so vain…I probably think this post is about me. Give us this day.

      1. True that, and no doubt. I’m glad to have some warm days so we can get out in the yard. We have a bank right outside my window with tons of day lilies on it. The wild blackberries have smothered them for the last couple years so Cathy got up there and did some brain surgery to get them out. I’ll be digging out the roots this weekend, I suppose. Yippee… Stay warm up there,, even though I bet that winter air is wonderful.

        1. Spring is late, even for here. But I haven’t been out because I’m on isolation – one more week to go. Can’t wait to get out, even if it will only be a trip to the grocery store. 🙂
Have fun with the roots. 😉 It sounds like you are having a lovely spring, though.
