It’s cold, and pewter grey, with blue sky in glimpses and bits.
Lustrous lacy frost hangs on trees and grasses and in the very air itself.
Winter is here, and with it, its beauties and muffled quiet.

I love and hate days like that! I love how beautiful they are, but it also usually means bad roads and lots of cold. I still think the beauty outweighs the not so beautiful.

Right? Lots to love, lots to hate. I do a lot of walking as I have the right clothes and getting the vehicle going is a lot of work- clearing the snow off, running it, making sure it’s plugged in. Walking is more efficient (and better for you). 🙂

My goodness! It is winter where you live! It hasn’t reached us, yet, though the weather is chilly. In the morning, there’s frost, but no snow yet. Cheers!

It is really very cold here right now (-37°C) and it is daylight for only six hours because of our northerly position. But I am soon taking a break in the warm Caribbean. Time to just soak up some sun and warmth and light. 🙂
