I found this bright yellow flower among the masses of snow-on-the-mountain. Isn’t it pretty? I saw it in the corner only after I had taken the photo.
The lovely, the different, creeps into our lives in unexpected, silent ways, and it’s up to us to pay attention and honour the visit.
I completely identify with the yellow flower. We share the same path… 😉

I love contrasts like a flower in the snow. Paradox’s are fascinating to me. Thanks or sharing.

I see you have a eye for pictures like my wife. It’s difficult for a walk to go uninterrupted without her zooming in on a flower or bee, but it’s terrific characteristic to notice the beauty of nature. It can be a bee, a sunflower or a tree growing from a rock face – beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and both of you see beauty all around.

I wonder if Snow-on-the-Mountain would grow here. I have a rocky, weedy bank that would be perfect. Another great pic from the GWN. Beauty, eh?

Thank you. 🙂
This snow-on-the-mountain lives in the garden of a good friend in southern Alberta. So that garden is a lot more south than I am right now. 😉 That area of southern Alberta is classified as semi-arid desert, so this plant is quite hardy and should do fairly well as long as you water it. Once it takes hold it’s an excellent ground cover. I’ve grown it before and really like how bushy and pretty it is. 🙂

Thank you. 🙂 I couldn’t believe that I had missed this little guy and only saw him after I took the photo. Sometimes, we need a different lens. 🙂
