I saw this mummy with twins sauntering across a road to an old apple tree.

Mummy wasn’t bothered by me at all as I stopped to take their pictures.
The little ones were more curious than concerned.

They blend in so well that they are not all that easy to see, but I would be happier if they were more skittish.
Greetings from the adorable deer of the Okanagan Valley. 🙂
What sweet photos, Lynette. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you. 🙂 Twins don’t usually do well – but this mummy and her babies seem very healthy and well-fed. 🙂

So cute! We had some visiting our backyard a few years ago too. Nature really knows how to please us.

Amazing to get such a picture! Usually a mama and her fawns are way more afraid of people.

Thank you. 🙂
They usually are. But the deer around here seem to be quite oblivious. That can indicate that they face little in the way of danger, but humans can sometimes take advantage of that …

What lovely creatures! We often have deer meandering through our yard, but I’ve never seen a family here.

They were so darling and they let me come quite close – just kept a quiet eye on me. I was amazed at how well they blended into their surroundings. 🙂
