There was no wind, which gave us a mirror-like, beautiful flat calm …

… while the soft, warming air gently dozed in the sun.

The azealas were invited to open their pretty blooms …

… and the hungry, busy robins began getting ready for some young ones.

Leaves were unfurling …

… and puffy clouds relaxing.
Isn’t spring grand?
Happy Friday.
What a beautiful spring day!

Yes, it sure was, Anneli. We really enjoyed it. 😊

It makes a big difference in the temperature whether the wind blows or not. We’ve had a lot of windy days and even if the clouds disappear, it’s still cold. But there are little signs of spring that keep our hopes up.

We’ve had lots of wind too, especially since autumn. Not just regular speeds, either. Much of it has been gusting to 80 or 90 k. Agreed, the wind usually cools everything. Glad to hear that you’re getting some spring signs.

Wow gorgeous photos, especially the reflections of mountains in the still water. But the other spring photos are wonderful as well.
