Here are photos from the last few weeks that I love but that don’t really fit into a particular theme or were left over from a specific post.

A November Japanese garden …

… Okanagan Lake at night. I think it’s very photogenic at any time …

… a collection of raindrop leaves and pine needles at the edge of a pond …

… a Japanese maple …

… yellowing cottonwood trees at Penticton Creek …

… and a canopy of big leaf maple leaves.

Happy Wednesday.
Really beautiful again Lynette, so many colours!

It hasn’t gotten cold there yet. We’re drenchingly wet. My sis–in Indiana–is snowbound (though over by now I think)

Out temperatures are just about right for November, around 12C (54F) or so. We’re getting buckets of rain too but I noticed this morning that the mountains now have snow at their tops. Last night, we in the valley had rain, up there at ski resort level, snow. That will make lots of people happy! Cheers.

A great medley Lynette, showcasing autumn. The left side of the 2nd shot looks like a dried flower arrangement. Happy Wednesday. Allan

Thank you very much, Allan. Those are dry hydrangea blooms together with a few leftover leaves. They will probably stick around until the shrub starts growing again in spring. Cheers.

They are lovely. I especially like the third one with the pine cones – that would look fantastic as a large print in a nice frame 😊

Thank you very much, James. I like that one a lot too and yes, am thinking of having it framed. 😊 Cheers.

These are so beautiful. I live close to a botanical garden called Lewis Ginter in Richmond, VA. Maybe you can visit one day and take pictures there. ☺️

Thank you; much appreciated. 😊 You live in a beautiful region of the U.S. I would love to visit your city again as I haven’t been in a very long time (probably in about three or so years’ time after you-know-who is gone. 😊) Cheers.

You’d be welcomed here Lynette. You know who isn’t allowed in Richmond. 😂

Beautiful captures of the remaining fall colours which always helps with the greyness and dampness. It looks more colourful there than here!!

Thank you very much, Linda. We still have a bit but not much now. Even the beech trees are dropping their leaves and they are usually the last. We have sun today (yay!) but for the most part I’ll have to get my colours elsewhere for the next couple of months.
