A scarlet-red lace leaf maple …

… an evening glow through leaves …

… sun-tinted lazy clouds …

… and a multitude of colourful foliage that’s lending beauty to our roads and sidewalks and footpaths …

… but that will soon be all gone until next year.
Beautiful November sightings.
Beautiful colors

Thank you very much, Maggie. The lace leaf maples are beautiful even after they lose their leaves because their shape is so graceful, too.

These maples provide fleeting moments at this time of year but are so perfectly gorgeous.

Yes, they’re so gorgeous – the lace leaf maples almost glow in the autumn light. They will retain their leaves well into December but will be pink and shrivelling by then.

It sure is. 😊 We still have quite a bit of colour but it’s rapidly declining now.

Gorgeous photos again, Lynette. I remembered this morning that the Polish for November is Listopad, which translates literally as Leaf fall 🍂

There is so much beauty in nature. We just need to take a moment to notice it.

I couldn’t agree more, Anneli. Life becomes so busy and then we don’t “see.”

Oh, the carpets of leaves! (And the scuffle underfoot, and the acrid tang wafting up to your nose…)

I agree, Penny, and I’m off to enjoy exactly that before the wind blows away all of them!

Love the carpet of leaves Lynette. So nice when they first fall. Have a great day. Allan

Thanks, Allan. I do as well. Right now they’re gracefully piled up everywhere and today I watched huge maple leaves dropping and floating to the ground. It was so tranquil and lovely. Cheers.

Thank you very much, Linda. I agree; they are so gorgeous and put on quite a show for most of the year. They would probably do well in your area if you’re still working on your garden. Cheers.
