  6. The sultry days and evenings are here too Lynette. We are in for a week of 30+, unusual for this part of the country. The good news is the evening cool down. The winds are light and the sun is warm. Walks take place in the morning (like today) or evening and bike rides instead of afternoon walks are the norm. Happy Monday. Allan

    1. Thank you, Allan. Yes, definitely unusual, particularly this late in the summer! We are experiencing mid-to-high 30s for going on a week now and it’s expected to continue for another week. Those highs are unusual for this region at this time of year, too. 30ish would be more typical. Our lows are around 16, 17, but it becomes hot as soon as the sun comes up. I’m finding it much more comfortable to walk during the evening; it’s just too hot during the day. Stay cool, Allan. 😎
