Lots of lovely summer greens of every shade …

… border our creeks …

… are reflected in our lily ponds with their green lily pads …

… shade the fish through the hot days …

… and provide a backdrop for all our lovely flowers.
Happy Thursday.

So many shades of green, Lynette. We would be lost without foliage. Happy Thursday. Allan

Thank you, Belinda.😊 Summer greens are the best. 😊 Yes, they definitely are! Koi continue to grow all their lives and between all the bugs (koi are omnivores) and the food they get from the groundskeepers, they’re certainly doing well. In the past visitors fed them too but I haven’t seen that happening in quite a while now.

So cool looking! And the fish are like the equivalent of the roses but in the water.

We are definitely greener than we’ve been in recent years. Given that so many other parts of the country are struggling with dry conditions and fires I feel that I shouldn’t emphasise our lovely greenery, but then I remember that we already had five years of drought and terrible fires.
The koi do like to put in a bit of a show when people come by – I think they’re hoping for some handouts – very cute.

Wonderful shades of green, and the photos or the fish and flowers are a treat to the eyes.

With all the rain we’ve had it’s probably greener and more verdant than I’ve seen in several years. Glad you like the photos. 😊Cheers.

Yes, they sure are. We have had a wetter, cooler summer than usual so everything looks verdantly lovely.

Green with envy at how lush everything looks. Some of our greens are looking rather tired or even brown.

We have been very fortunate this year with the overall wetter weather that is allowing the farmers and wineries to recover from those years of drought we had. Everything is so healthy. By contrast, so much of the rest of the country has been hit by drought and fire. It’s awful.
