Here are some things I’ve seen recently while out for a ramble.

The cute little marmot pups born about six to eight weeks ago are now big enough to come outside of their burrows.

They’re very fluffy, very small and very adorable.

Then I passed a pretty view …

… and another.
Happy Monday.
It was surely a delightful ramble. 👍

Marmot pups are so cute, but they look a bit like old men. Beautiful rambling shots and scenes Lynette. Always nice when spring spruces things up a bit. Happy Monday. Allan

Fluffy old men? 😉Thank you very much, Allan. Unseasonably cool here today and we’re expecting buckets of rain, too, so my ramble today will be a walk with a purpose; more like get ‘er done! Cheers.

We drove through rain from Kamloops almost to Jasper. Sure hope they are getting some of this at home. Settling into PLB now and feeling the tension start to melt away. Have a good evening. Allan

Thank you, Penny. I dare anyone to walk past their generational burrow and not stop to look at the pups. Irresistible! We’re heading to Yukon for a few days later this week so will be doing some posting from the north again. Cheers.

The little marmot pups definitely are adorable and so sweet with each other too as they chat away in their baby voices. Yes, everything is thriving as we’ve had a good mix of rain and heat although it has cooled off a bit here over the last few days; it’s definitely not at seasonal temperatures.

Oh the marmots are so cute. I haven’t seen any in nature for a while now.

Yes, they are definitely very cute. 😊 This is quite a large colony. They are habituated to humans as people love to watch them and feed them, too, but they are still wild.
