    1. Thanks, Allan. It sure is. Windy here today and +8 with +4 tonight; we haven’t had frost in a bit now. I think your weather has finally warmed up substantially. Time for a walk without so much bundling up!

      1. We are not long back from a visit to Jasper, where the low yesterday morning was +4. Right now, it is 6 here and the water is running in the streets. We walked in shirt sleeves today. Yay

    1. That photo was taken about three weeks ago, so we’re in better nick now. Well above freezing both during the day and at night, too. This valley is very temperate with hot summers and much warmer winters but not as warm as yours. 😊

      1. That’s great! Our summer nights cool to around 85/90F, trust me, it feels nothing less than wonderful after a day of 110+ heat. 😎🔥🌴

        1. I understand as we experience similar summer temperatures. The daytime temperature is about 44-45°C (111-113°F) which is why we have peach, cherry, apricot and pear orchards and also grow a lot of wine grapes, especially for red wine. Agriculture is very important here as you can imagine. Nights go down to about 30C (86F). This valley (the Okanagan) is a microclimate and quite different from what’s nearby.
