It’s definitely a different way of looking at a place! I clearly remember that at first I found it a bit overwhelming trying to figure out what was what and where was what, but like anything, experience helps.
I think the homeowners/buyers in those ares and elsewhere must sign paperwork that make clear that you are buying a residence that is noisy. Not for me!
After landing on what I think is 25L many times, I know from being right under the approach path taking photos, one of which is on the wall in my home, there are restaurants and apartments under the approach path.
I love aircraft of any kind but living directly under an approach path is not something I could deal with…

I lived there for a couple of years 20 years ago – I did a lot of flying from there. It has good restaurants!

Thanks, Allan. It sure has. I did a lot of flying from City Centre which of course is gone now. I have enjoyed Edmonton a lot over the years, too.

I love aircraft but I wouldn’t want to live under finals for busy airports landing big commercial jets. Ugh.
