Thank you very much, Belinda. 😊 We get a lot of that low cloud here in the valley during winter. The effect of the setting sun coming through it was so lovely, though. Cheers.
Thank you very much, Linda. It does have that chilly look about it but it was about 5 or 6 out, well above freezing. We haven’t had daytime temperatures below 0 yet and only had our first hard frost a few days ago. Everyone is hoping to get through this winter without seeing the stone fruits or wine grapes affected as they were last January with that terrible 4-day cold snap that we had.
Beautiful effect, looking through the trees.

Thank you very much, Anneli. Some colour, at least, but the wind was unbelievably sharp!

Thank you very much, Jo. We’re still in the 2-5°C range but the wind has been very, very cold. A windbreaker is a useful jacket at the moment!

January is one month that can look sunny and bright, but the sun’s light is soft instead of harsh. Happy Friday Lynette. Allan

Thanks, Allan. The cloud layer was really dispersing the sunset effects and yes, the light was very soft and lovely. Cheers.
