We had some sun! The wind was rather chilly but after all these grey, rainy days, it was nice to enjoy a bit of brightness.

As we moved into the afternoon the sun started to disappear behind some cloud, but my, it was a terrific little break!
Happy Saturday.
It’s lovely when when we get those moments in the weather. I love the Silvergrass.

I like them so much! It has been so, so grey that it was a total delight to awaken to the sun! Yes, I like the silvergrass as well. It’s quite pretty through the winter. Cheers.

A little sunshine can brighten your whole day. I love how the clouds in the first photo mimic the seed fronds on the grasses. Happy weekend Lynette. Allan

Thanks, Allan. It sure can. That wind was coming out of the north (off a glacier, it felt like) but yes, it was sure great to have some! Cheers.

Beautiful captures. How lovely to enjoy some blue skies and sunshine! It’s been cold, grey and windy here too.

The last time we had had a little sun was literally two weeks earlier, so it was great to see it once more! I hope you get some sun soon too, Linda. Cheers.

We have to cherish every blue sky we get at this time of the year, sadly still solid grey here.

Agreed, Jude. The last sun we saw was literally two weeks earlier, so I made sure to get out and enjoy it. I hope you get a break soon, too.

I took a similar photo a few years ago with cattails in the foreground. It makes such a pretty frame. Very nice photos, Lynette.

Love the brilliant, blue sky in the first photo; stunning! I think you included a photo of another tree with Christmas ornaments in a recent post. It’s delightful to see them.

Yes, we had a gorgeous blue sky in the morning which then gradually clouded over in the afternoon. I did include an ornament picture recently; this is another one in the same park. There are probably 20 or so trees with single ornaments on them. It’s very cute and children like to do a bauble hunt, too. 😊 Cheers.

Love that first photo of the red against the blue. Sun came out here today, too. But the temps dropped wayyyy low. 20F or -6c. That was the daytime high. Of course, night was even colder.
Glad you got to enjoy some sunshine for a bit.

Thank you very much. 😊 We had some beautiful blue skies in the morning but they gradually disappeared in the afternoon under a cloud layer.
Burrr. 🥶 I saw on the weather that the whole Great Lakes area is getting walloped by a huge low that’s moving counterclockwise and pulling a lot of cold out of the north. Your area is being affected by it. We are holding steady around 5 (41F) with no snow but the wind has suddenly grown quite cold. It really feels like it’s blowing off a glacier and probably is! Stay warm, Lori. It’s a good time for hot chocolate and curling up with good books. 😊
